Fenerbahçe’s Stadium and Jersey Sponsorship Talks Nearing Conclusion

Fenerbahçe Board Member Fethi Pekin shared the latest updates on the stadium naming rights and jersey sponsorship deals. Pekin stated that the club expects to generate significant revenue from both sponsorships.

Fenerbahçe continues to work on securing stadium naming rights and jersey sponsorship agreements.

The Yellow-Navy Blues aim to earn substantial revenue from these two sponsorships.

Speaking to Flash Haber, Fenerbahçe Board Member Fethi Pekin provided insights into the latest developments regarding the stadium and jersey sponsorship deals, as well as the club’s debt to the Banks Association.

In his statement, Pekin said:
“At the time we signed the Financial Restructuring Agreement, our principal debt was around 320 million euros based on the exchange rate at that time, which was approximately 10 lira per euro. At this point, following the latest capital increase, our principal debt has decreased to 80 million euros. That means a reduction of nearly 200 million euros. We will increase our capital ceiling to 1.25 billion, followed by another capital increase, which will bring our debt down to around 40 million euros. This process will be completed within a few months. We have one more step to take, but it’s not appropriate to disclose it yet since we are a publicly traded company.”

Regarding the stadium naming rights, Pekin stated:
“We have consultants working on this. According to their assessments, the deal could be valued at around 12-14 million euros per year. It doesn’t have to be a 10-year agreement like the one with Ülker, but if it were, it would amount to around 120-140 million euros. I believe it could be even higher.”

Pekin also confirmed that Fenerbahçe will sign a jersey sponsorship deal with Adidas:
“We will sign a contract with Adidas as our jersey sponsor. The financial terms are very high and satisfying. We will generate significant revenue from this deal as well. This will allow us to comfortably pay off our principal debt by the end of the season, which is our goal.”
