Injury: Fenerbahçe’s İrfan Can Kahveci Diagnosed with Partial Muscle Tear

Fenerbahçe has announced that İrfan Can Kahveci has suffered a partial tear in the upper rear thigh muscle tendon in his left leg. The club also revealed when he is expected to return to the field.

An update from the yellow-navy club has been released regarding İrfan Can Kahveci’s injury, sustained during the match against Trabzonspor.

The statement on Fenerbahçe’s official website reads:

“Following an MRI at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital due to the injury he sustained in the Trabzonspor match, our player İrfan Can Kahveci has been diagnosed with a partial tear in the upper rear thigh muscle tendon in his left leg. His treatment has begun.”

WHEN WILL İRFAN CAN RETURN TO THE FIELD?

It has been learned that İrfan Can will miss the matches against AZ Alkmaar and Sivasspor, and the club is aiming to have him ready for the Kayserispor game in Week 13 of the Süper Lig, scheduled for Saturday, November 23.

NO ISSUES FOR DJIKU

Meanwhile, medical evaluations for Alexander Djiku, who also left the field with an injury during the match against Trabzonspor, revealed no issues.
