“Justice for Football!” Fenerbahçe Denounces Refereeing Scandals in Galatasaray-Göztepe Clash
Fenerbahçe High Council Chairman Şekip Mosturoğlu criticized the officiating in the Galatasaray-Göztepe match. Mosturoğlu remarked, "If you’re not going to call this penalty, what will you call?"

Galatasaray defeated Göztepe 2-1 at home in the Trendyol Süper Lig.
Commenting on a controversial moment where Göztepe expected a penalty, Mosturoğlu shared on social media:
“Not just a penalty, but an obvious one. If you’re not going to give this, then what will you give?”
Fenerbahçe Board Member Hulusi Belgü expressed his frustration, stating:
“There’s so much to say, but if I speak, it’s no good; if I stay silent, it’s worse. May those who brought football to this state in Turkey, those who meticulously ruined sports and football in this country, those who allowed it, and those who stood by and watched, face justice. Such blatant theft and scandal have never been seen anywhere else. Right in front of everyone’s eyes, you’re destroying the love of children and the passion of millions of football fans for the game. You will pay for this! Shame on you!”
Another Fenerbahçe official, Ahmet Ketenci, added:
“Theater is a literary and performing art, created or improvised to be presented by actors in front of an audience. It represents events as they unfold and is meant to be performed on stage. That’s all fine and good, but everything has its place… Enough is enough!!!”
