Saint-Maximin Absent Against Hatayspor: Injury, Not Transfer, Confirmed
In the 18th week of the Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe defeated Hatayspor 2-1 at home despite missing seven key players. The absence of Allan Saint-Maximin from the squad raised questions after the lineups were announced, fueling speculation about his potential departure. A statement from the French player's camp has now clarified the situation.

Allan Saint-Maximin, who joined Fenerbahçe on loan at the start of the season, was not included in the matchday squad for the Hatayspor game. In recent days, rumors had surfaced suggesting the French player might leave the club in January. However, Saint-Maximin’s side has denied these claims.
According to a report by Ntvspor, a source close to Saint-Maximin stated that the rumors of his departure were untrue.
Regarding the issue, the source commented: “The rumors of him leaving are nonsense. He has a minor discomfort and will be back soon.” The 27-year-old player was left out of the squad for the Hatayspor match due to this discomfort.
