Bülent Uygun: “Proud to Have Worn Fenerbahçe’s Prestigious Jersey”
At the traditional gathering of the Fenerbahçeli Businessmen’s Association (FBİAD), prominent figures of the Fenerbahçe community came together.
The event, held at Fenerbahçe Dalyan Club, was attended by High Council Board President M. Şekip Mosturoğlu, Fenerbahçe Board Member Rıfat Perahya, AK Party MP Serkan Bayram, Associations Unit Director Asil Ramazan Erkan, FBİAD President Güven Güleşçe, as well as association members and their families. Former Fenerbahçe players Bülent Uygun and Tarık Daşgün, along with coach Yılmaz Vural, were also present.
Coach Bülent Uygun began his speech by thanking Şekip Mosturoğlu, with whom he shared a bond during the July 3 legal battle. He stated:
“Şekip Mosturoğlu is one of the five heroes of our resistance against the July 3 plot. He showed the greatness of Fenerbahçe through an incredible struggle under immense pressure. I congratulate him. I am honored and delighted to be among the wonderful people of FBİAD. We played for Fenerbahçe, won championships, and I was the top scorer. I also became the coach with the most points at Fenerbahçe. This is what being a Fenerbahçe member means—this is what honor is. No matter the opponent, you go out on the field and give your best. Throughout my career as both a player and a coach, I have always taken great pride in wearing this community’s prestigious jersey.”
